NSW:Prisoners on the run in NSW
SYDNEY, April 26 AAP - Three prisoners have escaped from a correctional centre in far
northwestern NSW.
The inmates, aged between 18 and 21, were reported missing from the minimum-security
facility at Gongolgon, south of Bourke, about 10.20pm (AEST) on Monday.
Police said the prisoners walked out of the prison wearing grey short-sleeved shirts
and grey track pants.
The three were men all described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance.
Matthew James Dewey, is 18, about 160-165cm tall, of medium build, clean shaven, and
with short black hair.
Dylan White, 19, is about 175-180cm tall, of thin build, has short black hair and a goatee beard.
Michael Cook, 21, is about 170-175cm tall, thin, clean shaven, and has short black hair.
Anyone who sees the men is advised not to approach them but to contact Crime Stoppers
on 1800 333 000.
