Link3 Unveils New IvuTV-Catalyst Solution.

Link3 Technovations announced that its new software solution, the Link3 IvuTV-Catalyst, enables traditional TV viewers to access interactive, on-demand Internet content and web applications directly on their digital televisions, offering a much-enhanced user experience.

Link3's software-based solution combined with DaVinci technology from Texas Instruments (TI) allows set-top box and TV manufacturers to offer Internet TV (iTV) features on their products in order to match the growing markets' needs.

The IvuTV-Catalyst assures comprehensive implementation and ongoing services, leverages existing software components, and maintains an effectively stable platform that easily adapts to future applications.

Further, Link3's solution opens up web videos and games to a universal audience on the home TV and is interoperable on the widest range of boxes (STBs and DTVs), thus attracting the widest audience of viewers, leveraging OEMs worldwide.
